AF-USA Holds Fundraising Meeting for Philippine Non-Profit Partners

On January 13, 2010, AF-USA held its first fundraising meeting for its Philippine non-profit partners for the year 2010. Different representatives from the various partner organizations gathered together at the Ayala Foundation main office in Makati to share their fundraising strategies and learn about effective fundraising methods in the States from AF-USA Deputy Director Rene Encarnacion and AF-USA PR and Marketing Director Letty Quizon.

The organizations represented diverse fields, from education to microenterprise, from science and technology to housing. After a lively open forum discussion, in which the representatives were able to ask one another about tips for fundraising, as well as the challenges of gathering support for their particular organizations, Rene Encarnacion shared  trends in raising funds in the States.
